Movers in Abu Dhabi
BeMore Movers moves homes and offices across Abu Dhabi: tower apartments on the island and Al Reem, gated communities on Saadiyat and Yas, and the large family villas of Khalifa City and Mohammed Bin Zayed City.
Abu Dhabi moves run on different rules from Dubai. Heavy vehicles are restricted on the island's main roads at peak times, tenancies register on Tawtheeq, and the villas are bigger. We plan for all three before the day.

Island, mainland and the new districts
Moving in Abu Dhabi splits into three kinds of job. On Abu Dhabi Island and Al Reem Island, most homes are tower apartments where the building management office approves the move, books the service lift and registers the crew. On Saadiyat and Yas, Aldar's gated communities register vehicles at the gate and set moving hours. On the mainland — Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Shakhbout City, Al Shamkha — large independent villas need almost no paperwork and a lot of lifting.
The paperwork that follows every Abu Dhabi move is the tenancy and the utilities: leases are registered on Tawtheeq, and electricity and water move through TAQA's distribution company. Al Reem is the exception, having moved under ADGM, where property registration now sits with the ADGM Registration Authority.
Truck timings, bridges and tolls
Abu Dhabi Mobility restricts heavy vehicles on the island's main roads, including the Corniche and the bridges, during the morning and afternoon peaks, and fines trucks that enter them. A moving truck that misjudges this sits at the edge of the city until the window lifts. We plan the departure time around those restrictions, which is the single biggest difference between an Abu Dhabi move and a Dubai one.
Darb toll gates on the bridges onto the island charge at peak hours. On a fixed quote from BeMore Movers, tolls, fuel and travel time are already inside the price.
Villa moving in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi family villas are often larger than their Dubai equivalents, with a majlis, a dining hall and generous store rooms. Our villa crews in Abu Dhabi survey on site, count the garage and garden, and usually plan two days: one to pack and one to move and place.
- Tower apartments on Al Reem, the Corniche and Al Bateen
- Aldar communities on Saadiyat, Yas and Al Raha
- Independent villas in Khalifa City, MBZ and Shakhbout City
- Moves between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain in a single day
Frequently asked questions
Do you move apartments on Abu Dhabi Island?
Yes, from the Corniche and Al Khalidiyah to Al Bateen and Tourist Club. Building management approves the move and books the service lift; we register the crew and vehicle.
Do you cover Al Ain?
Yes. Moves within Al Ain, and between Al Ain, Abu Dhabi city and Dubai, are part of our regular work.
Do you have movers in Abu Dhabi, or only in Dubai?
We move homes and offices across Abu Dhabi — the island, Al Reem, Saadiyat, Yas, Khalifa City, MBZ City and Al Ain — as well as between Abu Dhabi and every other emirate.
When can a moving truck drive in Abu Dhabi city?
Outside the heavy-vehicle restriction windows at the morning and afternoon peaks on Abu Dhabi Island's main roads. We schedule arrival and departure around them.
Can you move a villa from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in one day?
Apartments and most three-bedroom villas, yes, with an early start. Larger villas are usually packed the day before and moved on the second day.
