Villa movers in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi villas are some of the largest homes we move: a formal majlis, a dining hall, five or more bedrooms, a store room and a covered parking area that has quietly become another store room.
We move villas across the emirate — Khalifa City, Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Shakhbout City, Al Shamkha, Al Mushrif and Al Bateen on the mainland and the island, and Aldar's communities on Saadiyat, Yas and Al Raha — and between Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai.

Mainland villas and gated communities
Independent villas on the mainland rarely need a move permit. What decides the day is volume and heat: we survey the garage, store room, roof and garden, size the crew and vehicles against the real count, and load in the cooler hours between May and October.
Gated communities are different. Aldar's Saadiyat Beach Villas, Hidd Al Saadiyat, Yas Acres, West Yas, Al Raha Gardens and Al Reef register the moving vehicle and crew at the gate and set the hours moves are allowed. We send the vehicle and crew details to community management once your date is fixed.
- Full survey including majlis, store rooms, garage and garden
- Majlis seating, carved dining sets and large mirrors blanket-wrapped
- Fitted wardrobes and bespoke joinery dismantled and rebuilt
- Outdoor furniture cleaned of sand before packing
- Floor, stair, door frame and gate protection at both villas
Truck restrictions and the drive
Abu Dhabi Mobility restricts heavy vehicles on Abu Dhabi Island's main roads during the morning and afternoon peaks. A villa move onto the island or across the bridges is scheduled around those windows so the truck is never waiting at the edge of the city with your furniture on it.
For villas moving between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the drive is about an hour and a half. One crew and one set of vehicles do the whole job door to door, and tolls, fuel and travel time are written into the fixed price.
How big is an Abu Dhabi villa move?
The planning figures below come from our own loaded jobs for normally furnished villas with a full pack. Abu Dhabi villas often sit at the top of each range because of the majlis and store rooms.
- Three-bedroom villa: about 45 m³, a seven-tonne truck, a crew of six, one long day
- Four- to five-bedroom villa: 62 to 85 m³, a ten-tonne truck or two vehicles, a crew of seven to nine, two days
- Six bedrooms and up: two vehicles or more, a crew of ten or more, two to three days
The paperwork after the move
A new Abu Dhabi lease is registered on Tawtheeq, and electricity and water move with TAQA's distribution company. Neither is something a mover can do for you, but both are easier with a settled date, which is why we confirm yours in writing as soon as the quote is accepted.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a permit to move a villa in Abu Dhabi?
Independent mainland villas usually do not. Gated communities such as Saadiyat Beach Villas, Yas Acres and Al Raha Gardens register the moving vehicle and crew at the gate and set permitted hours, which we arrange with community management.
How long does a villa move in Abu Dhabi take?
A three-bedroom villa is usually one long day. Four bedrooms and up with full packing is normally two days, and the largest villas can take three.
Can you move a villa from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?
Yes, regularly. The same crew packs, loads, drives and places, with tolls and travel time inside the fixed quote. Larger villas are packed the day before.
When can a moving truck drive into Abu Dhabi city?
Outside the heavy-vehicle restriction windows on the island's main roads at the morning and afternoon peaks. We plan the departure around them.
