Piano, safe and heavy item moving in Dubai
A piano is not heavy furniture. It is a strung frame under several tonnes of tension inside a case that will not forgive being tipped, dragged or set down hard, and its weight sits in one place rather than spread across its feet.
The same is true of safes, multi-gyms and marble tops: the failure is never gradual. It is the one lift that goes wrong.
How we move a piano
The route is measured before anything is touched: doorway widths, lift dimensions, turning circles, floor protection, and whether the lift's rated load actually covers the instrument plus the crew.
Uprights are wrapped, strapped to a board and moved upright on a piano dolly. Grands have the lid, lyre and legs removed and travel on their side on a padded skid board, with everything that came off packed separately and refitted at the other end.

Safes, gym equipment and marble
Safes concentrate enormous weight in a small footprint, which is a floor-loading question as much as a lifting one. We check where the safe is going before we agree to put it there.
Multi-gyms and racks come apart to a plan and are rebuilt square and level. Marble tops always travel flat, on edge protection, separated from their bases.
What we will tell you honestly
Sometimes the answer is that a grand will not clear a stairwell, or a safe should not sit where you want it. We will say so at survey rather than find out on the day with your instrument halfway up a flight of stairs.
Tuning after a move is normal and expected; a piano needs to settle in its new humidity before it is worth doing.
