JLT is full of small and mid-size offices, and most move overnight or at the weekend. We label desks to a numbered plan, move crates and IT, and rebuild before the morning.

Surplus furniture goes to storage or is removed the same night.

JLT is a DMCC free-zone district, and residential moves are approved through DMCC's community process, applied for through your cluster or tower management with the tenancy contract, Emirates ID and the moving company's documents. Approval usually takes two to three working days, and a refundable deposit against the service lift and common areas is normal.

Towers then allocate the service lift in blocks, commonly a morning or an afternoon slot, and many ask for the mover's trade licence and vehicle registration at security in advance. We book the lift and the loading bay for the same block, because either one alone leaves the crew waiting.

JLT's towers are grouped into lettered clusters around the lakes, and each cluster has its own entrance, car park and loading point. Arriving at the wrong side can add half an hour to every trolley run, so the vehicle's route is agreed with security before the day.

Many towers mix apartments and small offices. Residential moves run in the daytime lift slots; office moves in the same building are usually limited to evenings and weekends and may need a DMCC work permit, which we arrange with the office manager.
