Moving boxes and packing materials in Dubai
Supermarket boxes fail. They are single-wall, they have carried something wet at some point, and they collapse when stacked three high in a truck on a summer afternoon.
We supply the same double-wall cartons, wrap, film and covers our own crews use, delivered to you before the move or brought on the day and included in the quote.
What we supply
The list below covers a normal household move. If you are packing yourself, we will tell you roughly how many cartons a home your size actually needs, which is almost always more than people expect.
- Double-wall cartons in small, large and book sizes
- Wardrobe boxes with a hanging rail, so clothes travel on their hangers
- Bubble wrap, foam sheets and packing paper for glass and china
- Stretch film and blankets for upholstery and polished timber
- Mattress and sofa covers sized for UAE bed sizes
- Tape, markers and labels so the unpacking end is not guesswork
Pack yourself, or let us do it
Self-packing saves money and costs time, and it only works if the materials are right. Books go in small cartons, not large ones. Glass goes upright with partitions, not flat. Anything you cannot lift comfortably is too heavy.
If you would rather not, our crews pack the whole home with a room-by-room inventory, usually the day before a large move.
How many boxes will I need?
As a rough guide: a studio takes around fifteen to twenty cartons, a one-bedroom thirty, a two-bedroom fifty, and a family villa well over a hundred once the kitchen and store room are counted.
Order a few more than you think. Unused cartons that come back with the crew cost you nothing; running out at 10pm the night before costs you the evening.
