Where DAMAC permits apply
Any home in a DAMAC-managed community or building needs the permit before a moving vehicle is allowed in. The villa communities check the vehicle at the gate; the towers check it at the loading bay and allocate a service lift slot.
- DAMAC Hills and DAMAC Hills 2
- DAMAC Lagoons
- DAMAC-managed towers, such as DAMAC Maison in Business Bay and DAMAC Heights in Dubai Marina
Applying on DAMAC Living
Log in to the DAMAC Living app or portal, choose a move-in or move-out request for your unit, and enter the move date, moving company and vehicle details. Upload your documents and submit.
Reviews typically take 48 to 72 hours. Submit at least three working days before the move, and a week ahead for a date in the last week of the month, when requests pile up.
- Emirates ID
- Tenancy contract and Ejari certificate for tenants, or title deed for owners
- Moving company and vehicle details
Hours and access on the day
Moving in the DAMAC villa communities is typically allowed from about 07:00 to 20:00. Towers set their own service lift windows, often shorter. The approved permit states the window, and security works to it.
DAMAC Hills 2 and DAMAC Lagoons are a long drive from central Dubai and the Marina. Allow for it in the start time, or the loading runs into the evening and outside the permitted hours.
Moving out
Outstanding service charges or community fees hold up move-out approval. Owners selling and tenants leaving should check the account in the app before requesting the permit.
